Philadelphia Police arrest 11 in drug sweep
More than 10 people were arrested, with more suspects sought on drug charges, in a sweep led by Philadelphia Police earlier this week.
On July 2, the Philadelphia Police Department began at daylight serving arrest warrants on individuals labeled as drug traffickers after a yearlong investigation into the sale and possession of controlled substances in town, Police Chief Eric Lyons said.
Officers were assisted by the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, Neshoba County Sheriff's Office, and Neshoba County constables, Lyons said.
During the round-up, the following 11 People were arrested, according to Lyons:

⦁ Cenika Black, Sale of Controlled Substance
⦁ Bennie Overstreet, Sale of Controlled Substance
⦁ Tamara Matthews, Sale of Controlled Substance
⦁ Shelbie Pinson, Possession of Controlled Substance
⦁ Deandrew Hudson, Sale of Controlled Substance
⦁ Norman Moore, Sale of Controlled Substance
⦁ Brian Sims, Possession of Controlled Substance
⦁ Christina Hill, possession of controlled substances
⦁ Jeffery Wells, possession of controlled substance
Arrest warrants have also been issued for six individuals:

“If you know where these individuals can be found,” Lyons said. “Please contact the Police Department or Crimestoppers.”
