A Philadelphia man was arrested after allegedly shooting at another man two weeks ago near Ivy Street and Kosciusko Road.

Gavin Sudduth, 36, 322 Ivy Street, was arrested and charged with aggravated assault contempt of court.

Sudduth remains in custody on $20,000 bond.

Philadelphia Police Chief Eric Lyons said that on April 19, at approximately 7 p.m. officers responded to the area of Ivy Street near Kosciusko Road to a report of shots beings fired.

The caller gave a description of a male walking on Ivy who fired the shots and officers quickly apprehended that subject and recovered a gun in his possession.

Lyons said the shooter was then identified as Sudduth.

Officers also made contact with a male subject who was driving by and was shot at by Sudduth and who was believed to be the intended target.

Lyons said no damage was reported and no one was injured in the shooting.

“Sudduth and the victim are believed to know each other and have a vendetta against each other,” Lyons said.

Lyons said the two men had filed complaints with law enforcement against each other a few weeks prior to this shooting incident.
