The Philadelphia Tornadoes grabbed another win on the basketball court last week.

The Tornadoes grabbed a 50-38 win over Pelahatchie while the Lady Tornadoes came from behind to win 53-44.

Philly will return to action after the Thanksgiving break, Philly will play at Leake Central on Tuesday and then play at the East Webster Invitational on Thursday, Dec. 5 and Friday, Dec. 6.

"We've got 10 football players going in and will practice every day except for Thanksgiving," Philly boys coach Willis Tullos said. "It's been some good experience for the other guys and most of them will be junior varsity players. It will help them down the line. I'm excited to have the football players back. We will have a whole week to get them ready to play. Their first game is against Leake Central and they are really good. That will be a difficult situation to play in because they are really good. It will be a good test to see if we are ready to play."
