Two Philadelphia brothers were arrested on drug charges last week when local law enforcement executed a search warrant at their residence in the 400 block of Samp Street.

Both Reginald Triplett, 54, and Nicholas Triplett, 44, of 464 Samp Street, were arrested and charged with the sale of a controlled substance, according to Philadelphia Police Chief Eric Lyons.

On Monday, May 19, at about 12:30 p.m., investigators with the Philadelphia Police Department executed a search warrant on the Samp Street residence with assistance from the Neshoba County Sheriff’s Office and the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics.

“The Philadelphia Police Department is grateful for the work done and the partnerships between all assisting agencies keeping their community and state safe,” Lyons said.

Upon arrival at the residence, investigators arrested the brothers.

After a search of the residence, investigators located and seized the following:

• 426 grams of counterfeit pills

• 153 grams of methamphetamine

• 151 grams of marijuana

• 92 grams of crack cocaine

• 71 dosage units of Ecstasy

• 32 grams of powder cocaine

• 35 grams of Xanax

• Three firearms

Lyons said the brothers lived with family at the residence.
