Pair arrested with drugs at city motel

A Union man and a woman were arrested Monday at a Philadelphia motel with a felony amount of methamphetamine.

Bianca N. Watson, 28, 11240 Road 450, Union, and Charles Bozeman, 52, 11940 Road 743, were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, according to Police Chief Eric Lyons.

On Monday, May 5, at about 12 a.m., PPD officers executed a search warrant in a room at the Western Motel on Holland Avenue.

Lyons said Watkins and Bozeman were arrested with a felony amount of methamphetamine.

Lyons said the warrant came as a result of a tip that drug activity was happening at the motel. Lyons said an investigation into that tip that included surveillance of the motel led to the warrant.

Both suspects were transported to jail, and no bond had been set as of Tuesday afternoon.
