I, Shaun Seales, am officially announcing my candidacy for Alderman of Ward 4 in the city of Philadelphia, Mississippi.  I am the son of Billy Joe and Dorothy Lee Carter-Seales.  I am married to NIchole Johnson-Seales and we share 6 children, Kiery Stribling, Roccmin, Sokoni, Shaundra, Sultan, and Attallah Seales.  I have one young man that I have taken as my own, Javon Pickens.   We also have 14 grandchildren.

I am a proud member of the Philadelphia High School Class of 1990, I forged bonds with friends that I cherish to this day.  I have spent the majority of my life as a resident of  (Westside)Shady Oaks community.

My professional experience includes valet attendant, limo driver, Transportation Manager, and then Director of Ground Transportation at Pearl River Resort.  My duties were managing more than 60 employees in addition to managing its budget of over $100,000.

In the private sector, I own Supreme Transportation (since 2008), Seales Carpet Cleaning and Car Wash (since 2000)and in partnership of Brothers Black Market (since 2020).

I've been a community activist most of my life and have organized "Stop the Violence" marches and rallies over the past few years to bring awareness to the commmuntiy and city.  My greatest joy has been mentoring the youth.  I was honored to receiced the Volunteer of  the Year Award from the  Community in Action (CIA) and was also awarded the Golden Supporter Award with Kids Over Everything (KOE;  Jacob Boler)

11.  Making sure proper street lights are up and installing cameras in high crime areas to make Ward 4  safe for its citizens
