Owner of stolen trailer sought by Neshoba Sheriff

The Neshoba County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the owner of a 14-foot enclosed trailer recovered near a residence Monday afternoon in the Linwood community.
Sheriff Eric Clark described the trailer as “really nice.” The 14 foot enclosed tandem axle trailer features a fold-down door in the back as well as a side entrance door.
“It is a pretty heavy-duty piece of equipment,” Clark said.
Clark said the trailer was recovered hidden near a residence on Road 325 off of Highway 15 south in the Linwood community. He said that no one in the area appears to know where the trailer came from.
“Everyone in the area was just clueless about how it got there or who was pulling it,” Clark said.
He said that they are looking into a person of interest and identifying the owner may reveal further useful information.
Clark said that the owner of the trailer is encouraged to contact him with a VIN number and registration at sheriff@neshobacounty.net.
