   Thomas Family Reunion 2023. The descendants of William Washington and Lena Catherina Phillips Thomas, whose children are James Allen Thomas, William Melton Thomas, Albert Miles Thomas, John Marion Thomas, Mary Susan Thomas Brantley, and Dock Kelly Thomas will hold the Annual Thomas Family Reunion at the Madden Lions Club, Thaggard Rd. Madden, Mississippi on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 11:30AM. We hope each of you will plan to come and bring a dish and your lawn chair. If you have any old pictures or other family information that you can share, this will be a great contribution in the preparation of a Thomas Family Book. We look forward to enjoying a day of food, fun and fellowship with each of you. We look forward to seeing each of you.

Concert

   Christian Concert with Robin Bullock and team coming to the Amphitheater of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians at Dance Ground Circle, Choctaw, MS. Saturday, May 20 from 10am-12pm and 2-5pm.

spring revival

   The Pastor and members of Stevens Chapel United Methodist Church, 233 Gum Street in Philadelphia, MS invite you to come and worship with us during our Annual Spring Revival Services. The Revival week will begin on Monday, May 15, 2023 through Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at 7:00pm nightly. Youth Night will take place on Wednesday, May 17, 2023. Rev. Dexter Ball (Pastor of Macedonia United Methodist Church and St. Mark United Methodist Church located in Philadelphia, MS) will serve as our speaker each night. Please come and help us lift the name of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ and celebrate His love together.

   New Black Jack Baptist Church Homecoming. Sunday, May 28th. Bro Allen Herrington will be delivering the message. Potluck after service. Will begin at 10AM. All are invited! 

spring revival

   The Mt. Enon M.B. Church Family in the Dixon Community cordially invite all area church families to attend our Spring Revival which is scheduled for May 29th through May 31st. Rev Jefrry Jones and the Spring Hill Church family will be our special guests for this event. Services begin nightly at 7:00.

summer program

   For all the parents out there that would like their kids to participate in a fun and educational activity over the summer, this might be the program for you!! All youth Ages 5-13 are able to participate in this program. If your child plans to participate, please call the office to register them by May 15th or if you want more information on the Kitchen Science Program, please call the office at 601-656-4011. The program will begin on Wednesday, May 31st. If you have any questions, please let us know.

   If you ever attended Dixon School in Neshoba County, you are invited to a Dixon Day Celebration on May 17th beginning at 10:30 at Lake Tiak O’Khata Restaurant in Louisville, MS.  A lunch buffet will be available for your meal.    The East Neshoba Volunteer Fire Department invites all county voters to a "Meet the Candidate" session at Station One's building on Hwy 16 East. On June 15, 2023 at 6PM we'll start off a night to be remembered. Come hear what your choice is telling Neshoba County.

pre-k registration

   The Pre-Kindergarten Program is located at the Neshoba County School District, Office of Federal Programs/Pre-K building at 1125 Golf Course Road. Students are screened for enrollment by a pre­kindergarten test. The program is designed to serve those children with the most academic/ developmental needs, and will be 4 years old on or before September 1, 2023. The classes will begin and end to coincide with the regular school term at Neshoba County Schools. Participating students' parents will be required to provide transportation to and from the center. As other students in the school district, pre-k students will be offered breakfasts and lunches by the Neshoba County School District Food Services. 

   Registration and testing will be conducted from 8:30 am - 2:00 pm, on May 22 - 24. We ask that one parent attend with the child being tested. Registration documents can be printed at www.neshobacentral.com, select "Departments," "Federal Programs/Pre-K," and then select "Pre-K Program Registration."

cemetery meeting

   Mars Hill Cemetery, Winston County. The annual cemetery meeting will be held Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at 7:30 pm at Mars Hill Pentecostal Church. For more information call 601-575-0202.

Walk-a-weigh

   The youth Walk-a-Weigh summer program is open to youth ages 8-18 to help your kid stay active during the summer. If you are interested in your kid participating, please call the office and register them by May 22nd. Please call the office at 601-656-4011 to register.
