SPRING SHORT COURSE
The Neshoba County Forestry Association is hosting a Spring Short Course on February 16, 2023, from 12 p.m. – 1p.m at the Neshoba County Extension Office located at 12000 Hwy 15 N. Philadelphia. Mississippi State Extension Forester, Butch Bailey, will be speaking on the topic of Forestry – Economic Development in MS. The cost for the short course will be $20 and is payable the day of the event. The $20 fee allows you to become a member of the Neshoba County Forestry Association as well as the cost lunch. The monthly Board Meetings for Linwood VFD will be the second Tuesday of every month at the New Station on Rd. 325. Everyone is invited to attend any of our Board Meetings which begin at 6:30.

Fundraiser for Tara Hall – breast cancer patient will be held Feb. 11 at the American Legion Highway 488 in Carthage. Pulled pork plates or Beef Brisket plates $10. 5 p.m.-8 p.m. Shake The Bucket will be 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. donation at door upon entry. 50/50 split the pot raffle $2 each or 3 for $5 drawing at 9 p.m. Silent Auction 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. Bracelets TEAM TARA $5.
