Monday Nov. 14 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.; Tuesday Nov. 15 from 3-5 p.m.; Wednesday Nov. 16 from 5-8 p.m.; Thursday Nov. 17 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.; Friday Nov. 18 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.; Saturday Nov. 19 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m.; Sunday Nov. 20 from 1-3 p.m.; and Monday Nov. 21 from 9 a.m.-11 a.m.

tree orders 

The Neshoba County Soil and Water Conservation District will be taking tree orders through November 18th, 2022. 

Order forms are available from 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday at the office or you can call 601-656-8783 Ext. 3 and we will e-mail or mail you an order form to you. The office is located at 511 East Lawn Drive in the USDA Building. We are asking that you pay for the trees when placing your order. You may drop off your payment and order form in a drop box outside of the front door.

The trees are bare root trees and will arrive in February 2023. By ordering bulk wholesale we can pass the savings on to you. Proceeds from tree sales will help support educational programs throughout the year.

Motors 4 Toys - Cruise-In & Toy Drive. Saturday, December 10, 2022. 9:00AM - noon. Show off your rides and spread some Christmas cheer. There will be a car/motorcycle ride leaving at 10:00AM. Pastor Scott Boatner will be available to pray with anyone desiring prayer. On December 10: drop off your new toys in the original packaging at God's House West Philadelphia Baptist Church, 256 Gum Street, Philadelphia, MS. Bless a Child. The annual Community Thanksgiving service will be help this year on Sunday November 20, at Jerusalem Temple. Services will start at 6PM. This year’s event promises to be an exciting one with a stellar line up of many local pastors and representatives of several local Christian nonprofit organizations.

Jim Daniel and Barry Walker, of the Neshoba County Ministerial Association, are expecting a large turn out after a two year absence of this event due to Covid concerns. Brother Stan Jones, Pastor of Jerusalem Temple, will be the host of this year’s gathering.

Some of the scheduled speakers are:

• Thomas Ben – Spirit of Life Church with Praise & Worship Team

• Marty Vaughn – Neshoba County Jail Ministry

• Marcus Wilson – Interim Pastor at Greenfield MB Church

• Barry Walker – The River and Neshoba County Ministerial Association

Doors will open at 5:30. Services start at 6PM. Every person from every denomination is invited to come worship with us. Come and bring several friends with you.
