The Neshoba County Forestry Association will hold its annual meeting on Tuesday, September 27th at 6 p.m. at the Neshoba County Coliseum. Mississippi Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce, Andy Gipson, will be our honored guest speaker. Commissioner Our dinner will be hosted by Pinn’s restaurant. The Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians is applying for an Indian Community Development Block Grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for the purpose of constructing new affordable homes. The Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians seeks input from community members about housing needs on the Choctaw Reservation. Tribal members are encouraged to attend a public meeting to discuss this application.
The meeting will be held at Pearl River Community CERF building on Monday, September 26 at 6:00 p.m. The CERF building is located across from the Justice Complex on Industrial Road.
