Branning-Chapman Reunion will be held on September 24, 2022 at Sandtown Family Life Center. Gather starting at 11 am and potluck lunch will be served at 12.

The 2022 Family Law Legal Clinics for the Sixth Chancery Court District will be held in Neshoba County on Sept. 30 at 9 a.m. at the Neshoba County Courthouse. 

Emancipation, guardianship, irreconcilable differences divorces (no fault divorces) and name change are topics available for discussion.

The Neshoba County Forestry Association will hold its annual meeting on Tuesday, September 27th at 6 p.m. at the Neshoba County Coliseum. Mississippi Commissioner of Agriculture and Commerce, Andy Gipson, will be our honored guest speaker. Commissioner  Our dinner will be hosted by Pinn’s restaurant.  Please call the Neshoba County Extension office at 601-656-4011 to pre-register for the meeting by Thursday, September 22nd to RSVP to the NCFA Fall Meeting.

grant meeting 

The Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians is applying for an Indian Community Development Block Grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for the purpose of constructing new affordable homes. The Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians seeks input from community members about housing needs on the Choctaw Reservation. Tribal members are encouraged to attend a public meeting to discuss this application.

The meeting will be held at Pearl River Community CERF building on Monday, September 26 at 6:00 p.m. The CERF building is located across from the Justice Complex on Industrial Road.
