god’s closet
God’s Closet is a mission established by the First United Methodist Church to help provide clothes and basic needs our Philadelphia, Choctaw, and Neshoba County school children. Located in the Valley View Shopping Center on East Main Street, we are open for shopping on Saturday mornings from 9 AM until noon. All items are FREE OF CHARGE, our only requirement is that each child be registered. To register, a guardian must supply a copy of the child’s birth certificate and two proofs of residency (utility bill, homestead exemption, voter registrations, rental agreement, mortgage statement, bank statement, school correspondence.) Babies in arms must remain in parent’s arms. Children must remain with adult shoppers at all times. All persons will complete a wellness questionnaire and be screened for fever.
church revival
Salem Baptist Church, 2380 Salem Rd, Lake, will begin revival services Sunday, October 4-7. Services will begin Sun. at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Wednesday service will begin at 7 p.m. Evangelist
