Nancy Parker Webb

Nancy Parker Webb, 91, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2024, at Country Meadow personal care home in Greenwood.  Services are 10 A.M. Wednesday, July 3 at Greenwood Delta Funeral Home with Rev. Ben Butler officiating.  Interment is 3 P.M. in Noxapater Methodist Cemetery.  Visitation is from 9-10 A.M. prior to the Service.

Nancy was born and raised in the Coldwater Community of Neshoba County and graduated from Coldwater High School.  She married John Webb in 1953 and they moved to Greenwood in 1955 after he received his degree from MS State University.  They started All Delta Pest Control which they owned and operated until retiring in 2002 and turning the business over to their son Stephen.

She was a longtime member of St John’s Methodist Church where she worked in the church nursery among many other duties.  She enjoyed cooking, growing flowers and visiting neighbors and elderly friends whom she cooked for.

She is survived by her husband of 71 years, John Webb; a daughter, Nancy Phillips (Doug) of Greenwood; a son, Steve Webb (Lisa) of Greenwood; two grandchildren, Mary Parker Tribble (Spence) of Jackson and Stephen Webb of Greenwood.

Pallbearers will be Stephen Webb, Spence Tribble, Harold Young, Howard “Buddy” Wittenmyer, Neil Turner, and Kenny Turner.

Memorials may be made to the Greenwood Community food pantry, St John’s Methodist Church or the Charity of donor’s choice.
