Nancy Lee Rulo Thaggard

Nancy Lee Rulo Thaggard, 79, a homemaker, died Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at her home.

Visitation was 5:30 pm Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Wilcox Funeral Home and from 1-2 pm Friday May 14 at Sunrise Baptist Church. Services were  2:00 pm Friday, May 14, 2021 at Sunrise Baptist Church with Rev. Guy Odom and Rev. Joe Abel officiating. Interment with military honors followed in the Springfield Cemetery. Wilcox Funeral Home was in charge  of arrangements.

Mrs. Thaggard was a native of St. Louis, MO. She was a member of  Sunrise Baptist Church, the American Legion, Sunrisers, and Samaritan  Purse (Operation Christmas Child). She served in the United States  Marine Corp.

Survivors include: her husband, Gary Thaggard of Madden; 4 sons, Russ Thaggard of Madden, Dan Thaggard of Madden, Lee Thaggard of Meridian,  and Andy Thaggard of Fort Rucker, AL; a daughter, Kelly Stone of Cordova, TN; a sister, Annette "Toni" Rulo of Hartford, CN; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were: Chanss Thaggard, Andy Thaggard, Cooper Thaggard, David Thaggard, Kasey Johnson, and Joseph Thaggard.
