More than a dusting of snow covered parts of Neshoba County and was continuing Sunday morning.
An elevated threat of two inches of snow turned into much more in some parts of the county.
A reported five inches fell around Preston, according to one report.
Snow could continue through mid-morning but is expected to end by midday, according to the National Weather Service.
At about 7:30 a.m. temperatures were hovering around 32 degrees.
Some county roads were a little slushy, according to reports, but streets in town are clear.
