Michael Burnside

Funeral service for Mr. Michael Dewayne Burnside will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. from Jerusalem Temple Church with Elder Stan Jones officiating. Burial will be at Donald Rest Cemetery. Beck Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Burnside, 46, of Philadelphia, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2025, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS.

He is survived by his mother, Emma Burnside of Philadelphia, MS, three children, Malia Burnside, Denyasia Isaac, and Piper Isaac, all of Philadelphia, MS, one grandchild, Ahnna Moncriease, seven brothers, Nicholas Burnside, Scottie Burnside, Christopher Burnside, Connie Peeples, Joe Peeples, Nelson Peeples, and Dewayne Peeples. 

Pallbearers are Justin Coleman, Micheal Henson, Marvin Marcus, Tony Riler, Billy Clemons, Marcus Talley, Timothy Hudson, Farenzo Griffin, and Michael Shavers.
