A Meridian man is in custody accused of shooting another man at a fast-food restaurant here on Sunday.

Thomas Grayson, 22, of 1773 Bunk Newell Road, Meridian, was arrested and charged with the aggravated assault of 21-year-old Dquavion Marshall of Philadelphia.

Detective Bobby Pattillo said Marshall remains at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson after suffering a gunshot to his right arm.

“He is in stable condition,” Pattillo said. “The case is currently under investigation.”

On Sunday, May 16 at approximately 9:20 a.m. PPD received a 911 call in reference to a shooting at the drive-through of Wendy’s on Main Street.

Responding officers detained Grayson fleeing the scene on foot, while Marshall drove himself to Neshoba General, Pattillo said.
