Melton Robinson, Sr.

Funeral service for Mr. Melton Robinson, Sr. will be held at 10 AM Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at Bogue Chitto Gym with Rev. Charles Doby Henry and Deacon Kendall Wallace officiating. 

Interment will be in the Robinson Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 3 PM Monday, September 12, 2022 at the home of Elizabeth Robinson, 231 Sonny Jones Road, Philadelphia, MS. John E. Stephens Chapel is in charge. 

Mr. Robinson, 59, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2022 at his home. He enjoyed listening to his sons playing in the band, fishing, playing pool and washers, gardening and watching the Dallas Cowboys. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Billy Robinson and Patsy Dixon; sister, Mary Ann Robinson; brother, Robbie Robinson. 

Survivors include wife, Tiffany Amos Robinson; daughters, Stephanie Dixon, Deanna Robinson, Krystal Robinson, Amelia Wallace; sons, Melton Robinson, Jr., Jeremiah Robinson; sisters, Lonie Henry, Martha Willis, Lisa Thompson, Elizabeth Robinson; 23 grandchildren. Pallbearers are Harlon Wallace, Angelo Bell, Jamison Williams, Bracey Bell; Justin Hundley, Matthew Allen, Elliott Bell, Jeremy Mingo.
