Maxine Ladd York

Funeral services for Ms. Maxine Ladd York was held 10 AM Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at John E. Stephens Chapel with Pastor Matthew Jones officiating. Interment in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Visitation was 5-8 PM Monday, April 17th at John E. Stephens Chapel. John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Ladd, 80, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2023 at Neshoba General Hospital. She lived in Neshoba County all of her life. She was a homemaker and loved flowers. She was a member of Philadelphia Church of God.

Ms. Ladd was preceded in death by her parents, Clayton Ladd and Ethel Davidson Ladd; husband, James York; daughter, Teresa Monk; grandson, James Michael Grainger; great-granddaughter, Mia Monk; brothers, George Ladd, Marzine Ladd and Billy Ladd.

Survivors are daughters, Sarah Gardner of Philadelphia and Sharlyne (Joey) Grainger of Philadelphia; (8) grandchildren; (17) great-grandchildren; host of nieces and nephews.
