Funeral services for Master Daylen Ray Briscoe were held at 2 PM Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Conehatta CERF Building with Pastor Robert Patrick officiating. Interment was in Conehatta Community Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 12 PM Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at Conehatta CERF Building. John E. Stephens Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Daylen, 4, passed away Thursday February 20, 2025, at Blair E. Batson Children’s Hospital in Jackson, MS. He lived all his life in the Conehatta Community and was a member of Stonewall Baptist Church. He loved to go fishing, going to the Bass Pro Shop, cutting grass with his grandpa, shopping for dinosaurs and sonic toys, playing with family and friends and going to school.

He is preceded in death by his grandpa, Darryl Ray Solomon Sr.; great-great-grandparents, Homer and Cornelia Bell, Annie Steve, Audie Day, W.C. Tubby, Ruben and Mae Bell Starr; great-great-great-grandma, Grace Farmer Smith.

Survivors include his parents, Dearryl Ray Solomon and Jaylynn Briscoe; maternal grandparents, Jathan Sr. and Danielle Briscoe; paternal grandmother, Melissa Solomon; maternal great-grandparents, Vanessa Tubby, Paul Bell Sr. (Erika), Rafael Tubby and Brenda Dixon; aunts, Robin Tubby, Laya Briscoe, Ansley Briscoe, Kyla Briscoe, Brylee Briscoe, Darcia Solomon, Demetria Jefferson, Deanica Solomon; uncles, Jayson Briscoe, Jathan Briscoe Jr., Zacharias Briscoe, Darryl Solomon Jr., and a host of great uncles and aunts.

Pallbearers are Alan Jimmie, Lionel Bell, Emerson Billy, Alec Anderson, Ivaniel Jefferson, Tayshun Thomas.
