Mary Francis McLain Sodders

Mrs. Mary Francis McLain Sodders, 74, passed away at her home in the Calico Community on April 07, 2023. She was born and raised in Neshoba County. A Graduate of Neshoba Central High School, East Central Community College and Mississippi Stata University where she received a master's degree. She taught in the Neshoba County School System and retired from the Choctaw Tribal School System.

She is survived by her son, Kendall Sodders, Daughter Tanya Sodders Jones, Six grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, brothers Ralph McLain (Judy) of Columbus, Ms. and Kent McLain (Jan) of Philadelphia, Ms.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Rev. Billy Sodders, and her granddaughter, Haley Ellingburg, her parents, John and Irene McLain, and her brother, Ronald (Jim) McLain.

Funeral Services was Monday, April 10, 2023 at John E. Stephens Chapel at 2 PM, Rev. Bennie Alford officiating.

Interment in the McClain Chapel Cemetery.
