Mary Beth Skipper

Visitation for Mary Beth Skipper was held Sunday, May 30, 2021 from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. at McClain-Hays Funeral Home.  McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Skipper, 63, of Union, died Friday, May 28, 2021.

She was a native of Meridian and longtime resident of House Community of Neshoba County.  She formerly worked in nursing at Laird’s Hospital, East MS State Hospital, Neshoba General Nursing Home, and Queen City Nursing Home in Meridian.  Mrs. Skipper was a member of Antioch Baptist Church.

Survivors include husband, Wallace “Skip” Skipper of Union; daughter, Amy Sartin of Jayess; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; mother, Sara E. Smith; sisters, Sarita Rainey and Susan Smith; brothers, Johnnie Smith, Luke Smith and Bobbie Slaton.

Preceding Mrs. Skipper in death were her son, John Anthony; father, Junior Smith; and sister, Hazel Thorp.
