Martha Dan Anderson

Funeral services for Ms. Martha Dan Anderson were held at 2 PM Monday, March 3, 2025 at Pearl River CERF Building with Bro. Daniel Tubby and Bro. Leonard Jimmie officiating. Interment was in the Greenhill Methodist Cemetery. Visitation was at 10 AM Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Pearl River CERF Building. John E. Stephens Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Ms. Anderson, 68, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 at Choctaw Residential Center in Choctaw, MS. She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church and enjoyed reading, going to thrift stores, traveling, singing hymns and photography.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert Bonnie Dan and Betty Lou Waiter Dan; step-daughter, Sequita Dixon; sister, Nancy Belle Dan; brothers, John Fitzgerald Dan and Robert Wayne Dan.

Survivors include daughters, Tracey Trolley and Marlena Anderson; step-daughters, Sesaun Williams, Shannon Mingo; sons, Ramey Thurdricks Dan, Ali Kent Dan, Lamo Johnson; step-son, Tilson Williams; sisters, Brenda Dan Carter, Phyllis Dan Keams, Arlene Fuller; brothers, Michael Patrick Dan, Edward Ray Dan, Bodron Dan, Eric Shane Dan, Carl Phillips; 25 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Brandis Johnson, Kiezer Johnson, Coby Smith, Eric Carson, Otis Mingo, Jr., Brayton Jim, Braynon Jim, Brayon Farve. Honorary pallbearers are Kaleb Anderson, Olajuwon King, Darryl Dan, Andre Dan, Tushka Dan.
