Martha Ann Presley

A graveside service for Martha Ann Presley was held Monday, November 28, 2022, from Eastlawn Cemetery with Rev. Jackie Barker officiating.  McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. 

Mrs. Presley, 82, of Philadelphia, died Sunday, November 27, 2022. 

She was a native and longtime resident of the Shady Grove community of Neshoba County and a graduate of Shady Grove School.  From 1962 until 1985 she was a resident of Jackson, MS, where she worked at the USDA lab; and then returned home and worked for Laird Home Health/Magna until retirement.  Mrs. Presley was a member of Mt. Nelson Baptist Church.

Survivors include daughter Denise Gray of Philadelphia; son, David Presley of Harrisville; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Sara Marshall and Jessie Robertson, both of Philadelphia.

Mrs. Presley was preceded in death by husband, Morris Presley; son, Aaron Presley; sister, Mabel Herrington.
