A memorial service for Mr. Marshael Nix will be held at 1 PM Saturday, April 19, 2025, at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Quitman, MS. John E. Stephens Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Nix, 88, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2025, at Choctaw Residential Center in Philadelphia, MS. His hobbies were fishing and going to the casino.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Albert Bryan Nix and Lenice Johnson Nix; daughter, Lenice Diane Ocain; brothers, Hugo, Maxie, Marvin, and Albert Nix.
Survivors include his daughters, Vicki Edwards and Alice Hollinghead; sister, Opal Bentley; brother, Earnest Nix; (7) grandchildren; (15) great-grandchildren.
