Marilyn Teresa Peebles

Funeral service for Ms. Marilyn Teresa Peebles was held 10 AM Saturday, May 1, 2021 at John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. John E. Stephens officiating. Burial was in Mars Hill Cemetery Winston Co. Visitation was held 5-7 PM Friday, April 30, 2021 at John E. Stephens Chapel Funeral Services.

Ms. Peebles, 68, passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Birmingham, AL. She lived most of her life in Neshoba Co. and Birmingham, AL.  She was a College Professor at Miles College in Birmingham, AL. Her hobbies included cooking, needlepoint, and traveling, but she was most passionate about teaching and learning.

She is preceded in death by, parents; Claude (Jack) Peebles Jr., and Inez Hamilton Peebles; sisters, Donna Peebles Williams, Patti Peebles.

Survivors include, sister, Claudette Peebles McMichael; nieces, Susie-Hannah Williams, Aimee McMichael and Tiffany McMichael Teta.
