A Neshoba County man wanted in connection with a stolen trailer full of tools found here was arrested in Jasper County this week.

Braxton Wayne Sullivan, 42, of Philadelphia was picked up by Neshoba County Sheriff’s deputies and faces two charges of receiving stolen property

Sullivan was arrested by the Jasper County Sheriff’s Department on Monday, Dec. 28 and was picked up by Neshoba County Tuesday.

The trailer full of tools and other construction equipment was taken from a fertilizer plant construction site in Noxubee County near Brooksville.

The 14-foot enclosed trailer was recovered hidden near a residence on Road 325 off of Highway 15 south in the Linwood community in Neshoba County.

Deputies arrested and charged Mike L. Neese, 65, 12323 Road 325 in Union after it was determined he was in possession of the stolen trailer.

Neese was charged with simple assault and possession of stolen property. Much of the missing tools were found in his possession as well.

Clark said that Noxubee County officials will want to question Sullivan in connection with this theft. They have already talked to Neese.

Clark had enlisted the help of the Union Police Department to find Sullivan locally.

Clark said that the Newton County Sheriff’s Department also wants to question Sullivan in connection with a burglary.
