Man arrested for drug trafficking

A Philadelphia man was arrested in connection with alleged drug trafficking last month, the authorities said..

The man, Cedric Dwayne Love, 40, 420 Indian Hospital Road, was arrested and charged with aggravated trafficking of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia.

Philadelphia Police Chief Eric Lyons said Love was arrested on Wednesday, April 26, at about 8 p.m. at a residence on Chestnut Street after an investigation into the sale of narcotics.

Police recovered more than 77 grams of marijuana from the residence.

Love was currently on probation with the Mississippi Dept of Corrections. According to Lyons, Love is currently in MDOC custody.
