A Philadelphia man was arrested and charged in relation to a shooting on Clyde Avenue Christmas morning, the authorities said.

The man, Philip N. Peeples, 34, of 404 Clyde Avenue, was arrested and charged with felony aggravated assault, according to Philadelphia Police Chief Eric Lyons. Peeples has posted bond and is out of jail, he said.

Peeples was arrested on Dec. 25, around 10 a.m. in association with an isolated incident on Clyde Avenue where a male victim was reportedly shot.

“The incident was an isolated incident between family members where Phillip shot a male relative after an argument,” Lyons said. “Male victim was shot in the leg and has since been released from the hospital and is back home.”

Lyons said the case remains under investigation.
