Man airlifted from Fairgrounds after falling from 2nd floor dies

A man working on a Neshoba County Fair cabin fell from a second story on Wednesday afternoon, was airlifted from the Fairgrounds, and has died, his family said.

Neshobba County Sheriff Eri Clark said the helicopter landed in the NCF Racetrack infield to pick up the patient, but didn’t provide any more details.

Family members identified the man as Ray Martin on Facebook. They announced on Thursday that he has passed away.
