Lottie Seward Winstead

Funeral services for Lottie Seward Winstead were held on Friday, August 2, at 11:00 a.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Dr. Mike Carr officiating. Burial followed in Cedarlawn Cemetery. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Lottie, 97, of Philadelphia passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at her home.

Mrs. Lottie was a native of Neshoba County and a resident of Jackson, MS for several years, until she moved back to Neshoba County 25 years ago. She loved spending time with her family and in her flower garden. Mrs. Lottie was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.

Survivors include her granddaughter, Amy Winstead (Bryan Irby); grandson, Brad Winstead (Jennifer); five great grandchildren; brother, Rufus Seward of Standing Pine; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Lottie was preceded in death by her husband Oscar Winstead; son John “Phil” Winstead; parents Filmore and Mary Seward.
