Linda Hembree McNeil

Graveside services for Linda Hembree McNeil were held Monday, November 18, 2024 at 12:30 p.m. from Hembree Cemetery with Bro. Mack Alford officiating. McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Linda Kay Hembree McNeil of Neshoba County, MS, was born on March 5, 1943 and passed away on November 11, 2024 in Orlando, FL after a long battle with Dementia.

Linda graduated from Philadelphia High School in 1961 and attended East Central Junior College and was a longtime resident of Charlotte, NC. She enjoyed being a loving grandmother, loved to go for walks and enjoyed NFL football games.

Linda is survived by her husband of over 63 years, Jerry McNeil; son ,Jeff (Bonnie); daughter, Lynn Hilbish; six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and sister, Betty Hembree Mooney.

Linda was preceded in death by her infant son, Jason Gregory McNeil; parents, Florence and Cook Hembree; and sister, Nancy Hembree Broell.
