Lewd graffiti painted again at Northside Park
Philadelphia police are investigating lewd graffiti painted on one of the concession stands at Northside Park.
Northside Park officials reported the graffiti on social media Tuesday morning.
Philadelphia Police Det. Bobby Pattillo said that the graffiti had been reported to the department and they are investigating the incident.
“We are working to identify any possible suspects,” Pattillo said.
Images included smiley faces, the anarchy symbol, hearts, phallic symbols and what appears to be a hand giving the middle finger gesture. In a picture posted to the Northside Park Facebook page some of the more obscene content was covered up.
Early last September graffiti was painted and the culprits were never caught.
Anyone with information regarding the graffiti is encouraged to call PPD at 601-656-2131 or the parks department at 601-656-4101.
