Langdon Smith Anderson III, 52, a resident of Houma, Louisiana passed away at Thibodaux Hospital on Friday, April 30, 2021. He was born on March 13, 1969 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi to Langdon S. Anderson Jr. and June McRae Anderson. 

Langdon graduated from H.L. Bourgeois High School in Houma, Perkinston Junior College in Wiggins, Ms. and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business from Mississippi State University. He managed several businesses in Miss. As a young boy he worked weekends and summers at Bayou Black Marina in Gibson, Louisiana that was owned and operated by his parents. He was a member of Mulberry Baptist Church in Houma and was active in the youth group. 

Langdon loved travel and adventure and all outdoor activities that included going hunting and fishing with his family and friends. He was a faithful fan of LSU and the Saints and went to the games when possible and always watched them on TV. He made friends easily and was always ready to help anyone in need. Langdon had leukemia and fought it the best way he knew how but he was tired and now he is at rest. He is going to be greatly missed by his family and friends. 

Langdon is survived by his son, Shawn Michael Anderson (Victoria); Mother, June McRae Anderson; Sister, Lauta Anderson Sanders (David); and Grandchild, Willow Anderson. He was preceded in death by his father, Langdon Smith Anderson Jr.

A memorial service will be held on June 19, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Good Hope Baptist Church, 12031 HWY 485, Philadelphia, Ms, 39350.
