Lady Tornadoes to take on Union

The Philadelphia Lady Tornadoes softball team is off to a 1-2 start.

The Lady Tornadoes dropped a 23-2 decision to Leake Academy but bounced back to beat J.Z. George 17-1. They then dropped a 12-2 decision to Eupora.

“We are putting the team together,” Coach Judson Byars said. “Our No. 1 pitcher was out last week but she is back and I think that is going to make a difference.”

The Lady Tornadoes have two games slated for this week. They were to host Union on Tuesday and visit the Lady Yellowjackets on Thursday.
