Lady Rockets remain undefeated on the diamond this year

The Neshoba Central girls fast-pitch team improved to 6-0 on the season after posting two wins last week.

The Lady Rockets defeated  East Webster 8-5 and then beat Leake Central 13-1.

The Lady Rockets banged out 12 hits to take the win over East Webster.

Neshoba Central scored two in the first, four in the second, one in the third and one in the fourth. East Webster scored three in the third, one in the fourth and one in the fifth,

Lanayah Henry was the winning pitcher.

Charmayne Morris hit a double and a single. She scored one run and knocked in two more. Mya Willis hit a double and a single and knocked in a run. Tenly Grisham hit two singles, scored two runs and knocked in another. Mauhree Jones had two hits. She scored a run and knocked in another. Kylie Posey had one hit and two RBIs.

Mauhree Jones struck out six batters as the Lady Rockets defeated Leake Central.

Neshoba Central scored three in the first, six in the second, one in the third and three in the fourth. 

Morris hit a home run, a triple and a single. She scored two runs and knocked in two more. Posey hit a double, scored a run and knocked two more. Henry had two hits and scored two runs. Miley Thomas had two hits, scored two runs and knocked in two more.
