Lady Rockets go for 10th straight championship

The Neshoba Central Lady Rockets wrapped up their regular season with a 20-3 record.

They begin their quest for  their 10th straight fast-pitch state championship and the 12th in program history. After earning a first round bye, they take on New Hope this weekend. The first game will be at home on Friday with the second to be on the road Saturday.

Neshoba Central closed out the regular season with a 10-0 win over Choctaw Central.

Other teams

The Neshoba Central baseball team finished the regular season with a 15-12 record. They faced Forest Hill in the first round.

Both Choctaw Central teams made the playoffs. The baseball team opened with Ripley while softball takes on Itawamba AHS.
