This coming summer will be an extraordinary one for Tyler Jordan Greer who is a graduate student at the University of Kentucky in the Department of Music.

He applied and auditioned for the positioned of the Tenor Trombonist Performing Arts Fellowship at Camp of the Woods, which he won and was hired. The Camp of the Woods is a premier Faith based resort and conference center in upstate New York.

Each summer, a group of 27 professional orchestra musicians and an 8 person vocal team are hired to perform in weekly concerts and recitals which include a wide variety of musical styles. The musicians also lead worship services for daily chapel and weekly events for the thousands of guests who vacation at Camp of the Woods. Congratulations!

A bridal shower honoring KaiLynn Robertson was given by her friends and family members on February 19th at The Depot.

The entire room was decorated for the occasion including a special corner filled with a huge wall- high cluster of gold and white balloons which made a great area for taking pictures. Tables held the gifts which were brought with love by the many guests who attended. KaiLynn, looking lovely in a white lacey dress, opened each gift with delight. It was a very happy event!

KaiLynn and Zac Graves will be married on April 15. Congratulations and Best Wishes!

Bobby and Joyce Hardy's home was filled with laughter and lots of conversation on February 18th when his family gathered to celebrate his 90th birthday. Bobby's birthday is on the 19th, but the family gathered to honor him on the day before. It was a very special event for the Hardy family because they had not been together for a long time.

A buffet table held a wonderful selection of delicious dishes brought by the guests to accompany the fried chicken Joyce had provided. There were desserts including a coconut birthday cake for Bobby baked by Joyce especially for him.

Those attending besides Joyce and Bobby were Daniel and Madison Hardy Dennis, Olivia and Levi Dennis; Mike Hardy; Tommy and Jerry Hardy; Laken Hardy; Nancy Williams; Corinne Brantley, Nelwyne Brantley; Allen Brantly; John David and Kelly Williams and Mary Leigh; Jane Johnson; and Terri Pippen. Happy Birthday, Bobby!
