The congregation of Holy Cross Catholic Church spent a pleasant Sunday after the 10:30 mass last week watching the CYO All Saints program while enjoying a Thanksgiving potluck in the church hall.

Tables covered in fall tablecloths with centerpieces of pumpkins, gourds, and other colorful fall items made the hall look so festive. Fall arrangements on the serving tables added to the setting.

The younger CYO members dressed as their favorite saints appeared on the stage accompanied by an older member who introduced each one and read a brief synopsis of the saint's life. There were some really cute little saints!

A huge thank you to all of those who worked so hard on these events!

Bobby and Joyce Hardy's grandson, Michael Hardy (HARDY), and Carleigh Ryan of San Diego, California, were married at Diamond Creek Farms in Nashville on October 29, 2022, with 350 guests attending.

A cocktail hour followed the ceremony with some unique touches including two "beer burros", miniature donkeys who carted beer around in panniers on their backs to the guests. Another touch was 10 minute tattoos for those guests who wanted to participate. A buffet dinner was served with a layered wedding cake with one layer paying tribute to Joyce Hardy's caramel cake. Joyce always made delicious caramel cakes which Michael enjoyed from his childhood on.

Michael was so happy and proud to have his Hardy family members present for the "best day of his life." His aunts, uncle, grandparents, and cousins were all present to celebrate this joyful event. Congratulations and best wishes to this happy couple!

The wedding was covered by People Magazine and will appear in a special edition on the newsstands soon. Special pictures of the wedding will accompany the article.
