Our local Rotary Club has made a tremendous difference in one person's life this week During the club's volunteer time at God's Closet, it came to their attention that one of God's Closet clients was in desperate need of a wheelchair due to a recent stroke.  At Monday's meeting the club voted to purchase a wheelchair to donate to God's Closet which would then be donated to their client. The wheelchair was presented to a member of the committee by Rotarians Virginia Wells, Kyle James, and Lisa Nowell. This is another example of the community support given by the Rotary Club. Thank you!

Spring break brought a happy surprise to Mack and Sherry Alford. Their daughter, Jennifer Alford Walker and her three children, Joseph, Emily, and Grace, arrived a day early for their visit from Macon, Georgia. They appeared at the Alford's home where they were truly a joyous surprise!

They had a wonderful time, as always, exploring the woods around the Alford home, visiting, and being in the country. They went to Meridian where they went to the Children's Museum and the Meridian train depot, both of which were so interesting. Sherry and Mack enjoyed being with their grandchildren and watching them having fun. They even tried out a few of the interactive exhibits. Pictures of the three children were taken at Quality Hospice Care among the red tulips. It was a wonderful time that ended too soon!
