It's tulip time again! The gorgeous red flowers raise their colorful blooms to the sun in the flower beds at the old Quality Hospice Care office where they have bloomed for many years.

The tulips are planted in honor and in memory of the patients and their families who have received care from the Quality Hospice through the years. Rex and Jo Ann Tinsley Rounsaville began the tradition and expanded the plantings with the help of Mac Burt. He and Adriana Burt have set out the black wrought iron chairs which look charming against the red flowers. Blankets are also great for very small babies which can be spread on the grass with tulips in the background.

One very recent picture was of Kaya Murray in a bright pink dress and matching hair bow sitting on a wrought iron chair with a mass of red tulips behind her. She looked adorable. Her grandmother, Linda Murray, shared her picture. Everyone is welcome to come and take pictures at 340 Byrd Avenue.

Four years ago in March of 2018. Burgin McClellan went on a 5-day Mexican cruise during spring break to celebrate her graduation from Philadelphia High School. Her parents, Robin and Randy McClellan accompanied her.

They went on a 5-day cruise to Mexico on a Carnival ship. Her dessert one evening was a beautiful confection served on a large plate with the word, "Congratulations " , written in chocolate on the plate.

It is now spring break four years later and Burgin went on another 5 day Carnival cruise to Mexico. This time her parents and her friend, Stephen Lombard went along for the fun. They enjoyed Cozumel and Costa Maya and other port cities. The time spent on the cruise ship was also awesome. There were lots of activities and swimming pools among other things to enjoy.

This cruise was to celebrate Burgin's graduation from Ole Miss in May. She replicated her dessert at dinner with a delectable confection on a white plate with "Congratulations" written across the plate in chocolate! According to Burgin, they had a "blast!"

Once again the elementary gym at Neshoba Central Elementary School was transformed into a magical world of make-believe for the annual kindergarten Fairy Tale Ball. There were white pillars with ivy twining around them and castles in the background on the walls which looked so realistic. Balloons were grouped in bunches in appropriate places with tables covered in colorful cloths holding refreshments for the little guests. Activity stations were set up in strategic spots for the children's participation. Each child decorated a picture frame to hold a photo from the ball as a memento of the occasion. A photo spot was set up for pictures of the children dressed in their costumes.

The ball began with the grand march of kings, queens, princesses, knights, and other fairy tale characters. They entered two by two through the double doors into fairytale land. There were several parents who attended and enjoyed the festivities with their children The principal, Tiffany Plott, was also in attendance observing and enjoying the fun. The teachers, assistants, and volunteers worked hard to make this an awesome event for the Kindergartners.
