Just Among Friends
Burgin McClellan was named to the Chancellor's Honor Roll at the University of Mississippi for the fall semester, 2021. She is a member of the class of 2022 who is majoring in Legal Studies: Paralegal and minoring in Political Science.
The Chancellor's Honor Roll is reserved for students who earn a GPA of 3.75-4.00. According to Chancellor Glen Boyce, " The remarkable students achieving the Chancellor's Honor roll are among the best and brightest at the University of Mississippi. I commend them for their hard work and dedication resulting in their outstanding academic achievements and this well-deserved recognition"
Her proud parents are Randy and Robin Tolbert McClellan. Congratulations!

On February 15, Cody and Kristen Miller Tawater welcomed a beautiful baby girl into their family. Raeleigh "Rae" Jean Tawater has two sisters who are absolutely thrilled and love her immensely. They are so excited to meet their baby sister and look forward to having this newest member in their family. The Tawaters live in West Point, Mississippi. Congratulations!

Week-long birthday celebrations can be such fun! Bobby Hardy reached an important birthday on February 19 when he turned 89. He can personally vouch for the long celebration which began early in the week and lasted until Monday, February 22.
The fun began with a trip to Biloxi with Joyce, Shirley Cox and Bobby, where they met Dale and Norma Perdeye. The Perdeyes are former residents of Philadelphia who now live in McComb. The three families have been close friends for many years. They had a fabulous time enjoying the beach city and surrounding areas. Dining in restaurants serving seafood and other delicious meals was such a treat as well as visiting all of the available attractions. They were so glad to be together for a visit.
Bobby's birthday celebration continued into the long weekend when their son, Mike, came from Nashville to join them. Bobby and Joyce are always very happy when he comes to spend time here. This was a memorable birthday celebration!

Exactly 6 years to the day they met, Megan McCoy and Dick Wheelock were married at the beautiful Montelucia Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona on February 19 with family and close friends attending.
It was a joyous occasion with a radiant bride and a happy groom both of whom exuded happiness. A reception was held on the site with guests having fun on the dance floor and enjoying fabulous food with a lovely wedding cake which was cut by the couple. Congratulations and best wishes for a lifetime of happiness!

Congratulations to Wade Fiedler who graduated from the University of Mississippi in December, 2021with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in the School of Business Administration. He was among the more than 600 students who graduated in December. His parents are H. Patterson Fiedler and Carol Harmon Fiedler who are the Choir Director and Pianist at the First United Methodist Church in Philadelphia.
