Rodeo Ready! That is how one mother described her daughter who was dressed in cowgirl clothing for school recently. It was a special occasion for both Neshoba Central Elementary School and Philadelphia Elementary School students who were all going on a field trip to the rodeo.

The Southeastern Professional Rodeo Association invited both elementary schools as guests to see the rodeo at the Neshoba County Coliseum. The children were so excited. Many of them had never been to a rodeo before and were thrilled.  There were several parents who came along and enjoyed it with the students. It was a great opportunity to enrich and expand their experiences for reading and language, as well as a fun experience.

There were some excited K3 children at First United Methodist Church Daycare on Friday, February 11. The class had very special guests for lunch that day. Their grandparents were invited to come for a celebratory Valentine's Day lunch with them.  The tables were decorated for the occasion and there was a photo spot for pictures framed with pink, white, and red balloons. It was such a festive setting!

The First Baptist Church held its annual Daddy-Daughter Dinner Dance recently. Proud dads escorted their beautiful daughters for an evening of fun and special memories. This event is always highly anticipated by the daughters because it gives them an opportunity to dress up and have a special evening with the most important father figure in their lives.

The family life center was, as always, beautifully decorated for the occasion. A spot for pictures with a silver backdrop and clusters of pink, white, gold, and red balloons added a charming touch. It was a fun evening with many memories made!
