Neshoba Country has a new Registered Nurse among its citizens! Ella Grace Robertson received the wonderful news that she passed the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses on August 13!

It has not been an easy path for Ella Grace. She started nursing school the year her grandmother was diagnosed with a brain tumor, went to nursing school and clinical in the middle of a pandemic. She finished nursing school during the loss of her grandparents and her battle with Covid-19. Her pinning ceremony had to be watched via livestream.  Family was not allowed to be present. Ella Grace overcame many obstacles to each her goal and get those two letters, RN, after her name. Congratulations and best wishes! Her very proud parents are Mike and Lynda Gail Robertson.

The ladies of Holy Cross Catholic Church honored Kelly George Young with a Drive- By Baby Shower on Sunday afternoon, August 15, in the Parish Hall

The hall had a table covered in a white floor length cloth with a burlap strip across it.  Lynn Benson brought a beautiful arrangement of white lilies and white crape myrtle in a tall pitcher for one side if the table.  Refreshments in to go bags were served from the table.  Gifts were displayed on a round white cloth covered table with another beautiful floral arrangement.

Kelly greeted guests through open car windows as they drove up and stopped to drop a gift and receive goodies and bottles of ice water from a large tub of ice. An arrangement of Black- Eyed Susans in a galvanized pair added a festive touch to the cloth covered table. Hostesses were Monica George, Adriana Burt, Marianne Enochs, JoBeth McGilbra, Gail Allen, Jo  Helen Daly, Missy Winstead, Ashley Webb McCall, Lucy Keith, Debby Curan, Lynn Benson, and Beth Dunn.

Kelly and Eddie Joe Young are eagerly anticipating the arrival of their son, Ezra James Young in the near future. He will certainly have some very nice gifts to welcome him.
