Wearing a pale lavender Elsa dress with a deep lavender bow in her hair, Darci Chunn welcomed her little friends to her "Frozen" 3rd Birthday Party which was held in her home. The "Frozen" theme transformed the living area into a magical scene.  There were large posters of the characters from the movie on the walls along with special areas with larger than life stand up cutouts in strategic places.  A huge Happy Birthday banner was hung along with the number 3 in a gold inflated balloon. Backdrops were hung in some places which looked like sheets of ice and snowflakes. The word, "Believe", was attached to one of them.

An arch of balloons in "Frozen" colors hovered above the refreshment table which was covered in a cloth with a design down the center and cameos of the leading "Frozen" characters mounted on the wall behind it.

A beautiful cake was the centerpiece. It was a three layered cake frosted in the signature Frozen blue with white snowflakes around each layer. The top layer was white with a number 3 candle. Cookies iced in Frozen colors with Darci's name on them in white were served as well as various finger foods. Plates and napkins carried out the theme.

A fun activity for the guests was making the snow character, Olaf, from a fluffy mound of white with stick cookies for arms and candy for his nose and buttons. A figure of Olaf was hanging down from the ceiling among the balloons as part of the decorations. An enthusiastic rendition of "Happy Birthday" was sung and Darci blew out the candle.  Everyone enjoyed sampling the food and watching her open her presents. It was a fun party! Darci is the daughter of Eli and Bethany Morgan Chunn who enjoyed giving the party for their sweet child.

The Friendly Fish and the Caterpillar kindergarten classes at Neshoba Central Elementary School presented a Valentine program for parents and grandparents. The program was held on February 12 in the auditorium.

"A Special Valentine" was performed by some special little Valentines who sang and recited and did a wonderful job. They entered wearing masks and stood on the stage with a backdrop decorated with big hearts and the title of the program in shiny red letters across the top of the curtain.  The audience enjoyed watching their children so very much. Their teachers, Mrs. Posey and Mrs. Vowell, along with their assistants, worked so hard to make this happen. The students had fun, too!
