Just Among Friends
Sofia Euyoque, a senior at the University of Mississippi, found her passion for music early in life through her Mexican-American culture. Starting in middle school, she discovered her enthusiasm for music, which grew through high school when she decided to pursue a career in musical arts. She will be a first-generation college student actively engaged in university activities, including being a member of the “Pride of the South” band and a drum major.
She is majoring in music education and has mapped out a course toward a promising career after graduation in the spring. Sofia feels fortunate to have received several generous scholarships from Ole Miss due to her high school career at Neshoba Central High School. Thanks to these scholarships, she will graduate without the burden of student loans. She intends to become a band director at a public school in Mississippi. Her future looks bright, thanks to her hard work and financial assistance.

A dream came true for Conner and Sadie Fulton Breland when their son, Bennett Lyle Breland, arrived on January 6, 2025. He weighed 7 pounds, 3 ounces of pure sugar.
His nursery was ready and waiting for his arrival, complete with a blue blanket handmade by his great-grandmother, Reba Jo Fulton, and a monogrammed quilt from Sadie's best friend, Bennett’s Aunt A, Adrienne Sisson Fulton. Congratulations, he is a beautiful baby!

I thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the posts of the babies who celebrated their first Christmas. There were some priceless pictures of their little faces as they saw the Christmas trees and the lights, including those displayed around town. Some Santa visits were hilarious but charming. The world is fresh and new through the eyes of a child. I loved sharing it with Candler so very much. Cherished memories. So thankful.
