Ladies of the Cross met last Wednesday in the parish hall at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Hostesses for the evening were Missy Winstead, Lucy Keith, Wanda George, and Daina Skinner.
The program for the meeting was presented by Tammy Shepherd, "Celebrate Recovery," which is a Christ-centered ministry to bring healing to people with all sorts of hurts, habits, and hang-ups. It is a safe, encouraging environment where individuals can seek recovery with the highest of confidentiality. It is hoped that people will gain a greater perspective of God's redemptive purpose for their lives.
Meetings are held every Thursday at the Neshoba Baptist Center. A free meal is served at 5:45 with the program at 6:30.

Happy Birthday to Mrs. Youngblood, Leah Youngblood Stinson’s mother! She was 93 years old on Sept. 4. Leah, Vicky, and Mike took her to Amerigo’s for a luscious lunch. It was a great day filled with love, laughter and family.

Huge congratulations to April Brown, Neshoba Middle School Teacher of the Month! She was selected for her dedication to her students. Neshoba's PTO generously donated a gift card to recognize the impact she has on her students.

Happy Anniversary to Will and Caitlin Nicole Graham! They celebrated their 13th Wedding Anniversary on August 27. Although they have been married for 13 years, they spent 19 years together as girlfriend and boyfriend.

Philadelphia Elementary School invited grandparents to come to the school on Monday, Sept. 6, to shop with their grandchildren at the Book Fair, enjoy games and prizes along with lunch. It was a happy occasion for the children and their grandparents It was a happy Grandparents’ Day!
