Last Wednesday was an epic day in the life of Marty Stuart. He donated his entire private collection of country music memorabilia, the largest private collection in the world, to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
He felt on top of the world to have his collection live alongside the Country Music Hall of Fame and to be part of a ceremony formally welcoming him into the family of country music was a spiritual high.
The event was attended by family and friends from both Nashville and Mississippi, who thoroughly enjoyed the celebration. Congratulations to Marty!

East Central Community College was excited to welcome 22 international student athletes to campus for the 2024-2025 season. These students represent 14 countries around the globe and will participate in eight different sports for the Warriors!
The countries represented are Algeria, Australia, Canada, Colombia, England, France, Germany, Mexico, Morocco, Panama, Russia, South Africa, Turkey, and Venezuela. A get-acquainted gathering was held on campus, and a variety of foods were served buffet style, including some from their native countries. One that looked especially delicious was Russian sour cream cake. Fairy cakes were another tasty-looking selection. Welcome to America and East Central! We hope you all have a great year!

95 NEVER LOOKED SO GOOD proclaimed the banner in gold letters welcoming guests to Louise Reynolds’ birthday party celebrating her 95th birthday! Beneath the banner was a table covered in a white floor length cloth displaying many pictures from Louise’s life.
It was a very festive event with the venue beautifully decorated with a colorful balloon arch accenting one of several refreshment tables which offered a great opportunity for pictures. There were several cloth covered tables displaying trays and trays of various kinds of food. Another table was a round one with a white cloth and a lovely floral arrangement which held a selection of vegetables, fruit, and dips.
The many guests included her family and friends who seemed so happy to help Louise mark this fantastic birthday. She is over a century old which is amazing. Happy, Happy Birthday!
