Juanita Davis May

Funeral services for Juanita Davis May were held Friday, April 11, 2025 at 1 p.m. from McClain-Hays Chapel with Bro. Mike Skinner officiating. Burial followed in Clark Cemetery in Walnut Grove, MS. McClain-Hays Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Ms. May, 93, of Carthage, MS passed away April 6, 2025.

Juanita was born in Nashville and spent her early childhood there and had lived in Carthage for the past 50 years. Juanita spent years traveling around playing the piano and spreading the gospel. Ms. May was Baptist by faith.

Survivors include her sons, Aubry, Randy and Ricky Davis; step-son, Tim May; grandchildren, Measha Davis (Alan Roberts), Makayla Davis Britt, Krystal Strait, Ben Davis, Emmett Davis and Sky Davis; great grandchildren, Trenity and Trey Roberts; several nieces, nephews and their families.

Ms. May was preceded in death by husband, Richard May; son, Robert Davis; grandson, Evan Davis.
