J.R. Jones

Graveside services for Mr. J.R. Jones were held on Sunday, November 21, 2021, at 2 P.M. from Donald Rest Cemetery with Brother Johnny Beckwith officiating. Beck Funeral Home, Inc was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Jones, 80, of Philadelphia, passed away on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at his residence.

He is survived by three brothers, Kenneth W. Jones of Byhalia, MS, Craig Jones of Philadelphia, MS, and Willie L. Coleman of Minneapolis, MN, two sisters, Rosie Baxstrum of Ontario, CA, and Carrie Duff of St. Louis, MO, one daughter Patsy Coleman, one son Alvin Kidd, four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Jay Boler, Johnny Crockett, Alvin Kidd, Marzette Jordan, Spencer Jordan, Michael Moore and Bruce Fox.
